who am i?

am sick & tired of trying to
please you.
you are .
   impossible.
Every Effort is in vain,
as you dig my hole deeper -
offering false peace,
you hold out your hand,
only to snatch it away
and laugh at my folly.

who are you?
friend or foe,
you are so unclear to me.
you smile so deceitfully,
and i fall into your trap.

you are an
Eccentricity.
A complex web of
Inconsistency
that is impossible for me to solve,
but i can't help but
Love
for you are my "family"

hello selfish.
hello inconsiderate
greetings, self-righteous.
how may you hurt me today?
am i nothing to you,
i ask.
or is there something
you see where i stand -

i am sincerity,
   unplanned,
   unpremeditated,
honesty.
keep me truthful,
and so swallow your pride
and ignorant ways.

hello blind,
   goodbye light.

i must be with my family.
i must walk in the darkness.
i'll just sleep in peace.
