don't you know that you make me feel so good ?
you're a lovely little piece of what happiness is to me
& i wish i could have that daily
whenever i need it,
for you to pick me up -

yellow little sticky notes
the smell of tangerines
the way the music floats
when we sing together

i love that we're tightly wound
& that whether
or not we're green or blue
i know that you are here and i am too for you
like we're all a part of one big family
a tree
its Roots so tied securely
grounded with the oldest Power
the one that is that Strong Tower
which we're both familiar with;

i like that our Refuge is so similar
one and the same
& so harmonious

i like the way we laugh and share
glances that we understand
and meetings where we
pray hand to hand

i love you fam
& i want it to stay this way

when deep down i can't help
and know that this is where my heart should stay
& i must look at this differently one day
but right now,
i feel contmentment
where before it was just
resentment

peaceful love
of brotherhood
A sweet sisterly bond
i am for now
& loving it somehow.
